SOS accepts donations 24 hours a day.
How SOS works
SOS is convened by different health organizations in Metro Manila who are all working closely in communities.
Your donations are received and repacked at the SOS center which is at #35 Examiner Street, West Triangle Quezon City. It is also the office of the Council for Health and Development, now in its 20th year of working for people's health, it is the national organization of Community Based Health Programs in the Philippines.
After the goods are repacked by SOS volunteers who are mostly students and health workers, vehicles are ready to transport these goods to the areas identified.
The communities SOS serve are communities with people's organizations where its convening organizations are working with.
Cash donations on the other hand, are converted to goods right away.
Even without hype and publicity, you can very well rest assured that your donations reach the communities directly.
Moreover, SOS is not merely a "relief delivery" oriented organization.
Along with relief operations, SOS also conducts medical missions and health education.
Thank you very much and your help is very much welcome!
