HELP VICTIMS OF TYPHOON ONDOY

The tropical storm Ondoy that lashed out on the whole of National Capital Region of the Philippines and in many provinces of Luzon has witnessed how the Filipino people are left out to tend for themselves in times of disaster, at least in the communities of Greater Fairview, Quezon City.

According to residents, in greater Fairview, there was zero rescue during the horrifying experience last Saturday, September 26 as they struggled to survive. Flood water reached up to 40ft.

Some families evacuated and took refuge in different centers they saw. Some ran towards taller establishments, some towards neighbors with taller houses while some stayed on the roads that was not reached by the flood.

Right now, most of the families in greater Fairview are trying to save whatever they could in their houses for those who still have their houses as many houses were literally flushed away by Ondoy.

The residents' properties and food supplies were gravely damaged.

They are now of great need for any help they can get from anyone, at all.
